Norwood: Search for Missing 16-Year-Old Girl

   The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of Asiamarie Ortiz, 16, of 3424 Gates Place in the Norwood section of the Bronx, who was reported missing in the 52nd precinct.   Asiamarie was last seen at her home at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021. She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has  brown eyes and brown hair. City Will Arrange Transportation for NYC Seniors to Get Vaccinated

Update: Man Arrested on Murder Charges in Death of 27-Year-Old Man Shot in Neck in Claremont

On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at approximately 1.07 a.m., police responded to a call regarding a person who had been shot in front of 1779 Fulton Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx, in the 42nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his neck, unconscious and unresponsive. Mayor: City Will Run Out of COVID-19 Vaccines Next Week, State Health Department Issues Vaccine Alert
