Attempted Rape Pattern in Mt Hope & Claremont

 

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified man seen in the attached video and photos who is sought in connection with an attempted rape pattern in the 46th and 44th precincts.

 

In relation to the first incident in the 46th precinct, it was reported to police that on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at approximately 6 p.m., inside a residential building in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and East 177th Street in Mt Hope, the man approached the victim, a 29-year-old female, and forcibly touched her private area. The victim resisted and the man fled on foot.

In relation to the second incident in the 44th precinct, it was reported to police that on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at approximately 6.50 p.m., in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and East 174th Street in Claremont, the man approached a 39-year-old female victim from behind. He forced her to the ground, pulled her pants down, and attempted to sexually assault her, while grabbing her private area. The victim resisted and the suspect fled on foot.
