Olinville: 25-Year-Old Man Shot Multiple Times

The NYPD has confirmed that a 25-year-old man was shot “multiple times” inside a Holland Avenue apartment building in Olinville on Monday, while providing few details of the incident. Olinville falls under the purview of the 47th precinct.   In a two-sentence statement released by the NYPD hours after the shooting, the statement read, “On April 18, 2021 at 12.40 [in the afternoon] a 25-year-old male was shot multiple times inside of 3602 Holland Avenue. Burglars Steal ATM Machine in Indian Village

Detectives in the 49th precinct are investigating a burglary at the Liberty Diner, located at 2101 Williamsbridge Road, at Lydig Avenue in the Indian Village section of the Bronx.   The NYPD said the incident was reported at 3:51 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, by a 29-year-old man who reported to police that unidentified men entered the location by breaking the front door with an unknown object and removed an ATM from the rear of the store. Hit and Run on Mosholu Parkway

Police are looking for the driver involved in a crash that injured a second driver, before fleeing the scene on Mosholu Parkway. According to the NYPD, the crash took place at 3:34 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, at the intersection of Marion Avenue and East Mosholu Parkway South.   A preliminary investigation determined that a 2020 Nissan was traveling southbound on Marion Avenue when it was rear-ended by a 2017 Ford. Update: Man Removed from Yankee Stadium, Days Before J&J COVID-19 Vaccine Paused

More than a dozen Bronxites waiting in line for a COVID-19 vaccination watched in utter silence as a man was wheeled out of Yankee Stadium, placed inside an ambulance, and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
