Update: Norwood Ridgewood Savings Bank Change of Location in September 2021

Ridgewood Savings Bank branch, located on 3445 Jerome Avenue in Norwood, will be closing and moving premises effective September 3, 2021, according to a letter dated May 17, received by customers. A new local branch of the bank which, according to the letter, has been in operation for 100 years, will open during the summer (no exact date has been specified, as yet) and will be located at 320 East 204th Street, in Norwood. Update: Scooter Rider Killed by Amazon Truck in Van Nest

Police are still looking to identify a male scooter driver, three days after he was struck and killed by an Amazon delivery truck in Van Nest.   On Tuesday, June 22, police spokeswoman, Detective Denise Moroney said the collision took place outside 1230 East Tremont Avenue, between Van Nest Avenue and Morris Park Avenue, at 7:18 p.m., on Saturday, June 19. “Police responded to a call of a person struck by a vehicle,” she said. ” Upon arrival, officers observed a male lying unconscious and unresponsive on the street in front of the location with severe trauma.”   She continued,

Fordham Manor: Search for Missing 16-Year-Old Mother & Three-Month-Old Son
