Zohran Mamdani, one of the top contenders to win the Democratic mayoral primary on June 24, campaigned in the Norwood section of The Bronx last month alongside State Sen. Mamdani was endorsed on June 18 by former mayoral candidate Maya Wiley, which followed prior endorsements by former U.S. presidential candidate and Independent U.S. Sen.
