UPDATE Fordham Heights: Three Sought Following Subway Killing on D Train After Dispute
The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying three individuals seen in the attached video and photos who are sought in connection to a homicide that occurred aboard the D train at 182nd-183rd Street subway station in Fordham Heights in the early hours of Friday, Feb. 23. The incident comes on the back of a mass shooting on the 4 line at nearby Mt. Eden subway station earlier this month.

Bronx Woman Charged with Manslaughter for Allegedly Suffocating Newborn Twin Daughter
Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Tuesday, Feb. 13, that a Bronx woman has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in the death by asphyxiation of her newborn twin daughter in September 2023, as reported. The woman later gave birth to a twin baby boy.

As a group of young men continued a vigil for a third day outside FM Candy and Grocery Corp, located at 131 West Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Manor, residents of NYCHA’s Bailey Houses, located on Heath Avenue also in Fordham Manor, remembered resident, Hasan Richburg, 26, who, as reported, was shot multiple times outside 131 West Kingsbridge Road on Thursday, Feb. 8 and later died of his injuries.
