Update: Police Release More Photos/Video of Suspect Wanted for Questioning in Norwood Burglary Pattern

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man seen in the attached photos who is wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary pattern in the 52nd precinct. It was reported to police that between Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 and Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, in the vicinity of East Gun Hill Road and Decatur Avenue in Norwood, the man unlawfully entered five residential apartment buildings by forcing open the lobby doors with a screwdriver. Once inside the buildings, he used a screwdriver to force open various mailboxes, and removed multiple contents before fleeing the locations.

On Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at around 8.39 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed at 2802 Olinville Avenue, in Allerton section of the Bronx, in the 49th precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 56-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the chest. On Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at approximately 00.15 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed at the corner of Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenue, in the 43rd precinct.
