Williamsbridge: Police Search for Three People following Shooting Incident

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the three individuals seen in the attached photo and video who are wanted for questioning in connection with a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in the 47th precinct.   On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at around 3.44 a.m., in the vicinity of 801 Bartholdi Street in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx, three unknown individuals got into a parked vehicle at the location, and as they fled to parts unknown, they discharged several rounds through the sunroof window.   No injuries or property damage was reported

Update: Murder Charge for Man Arrested in South Bronx Shooting as Victim Dies

    Last October, the New York City Police Department asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the attached surveillance video and photo in connection with an assault that occurred in the 42nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at approximately 5.30 p.m., in front of 960 Tinton Avenue, located between Forest Houses and William McKinley Houses, a 30-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown individual who displayed a black firearm and shot the victim in the torso before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Kingsbridge: Search for Two Men Wanted in Connection with Gas Station Robbery

CM Cabrera Calls for Surrender of Illegal Guns, Greater Gun Safety as Child Shot in Head in Fordham Manor

Update: Man Arrested on Murder Charges in Death of 27-Year-Old Man Shot in Neck in Claremont

On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at approximately 1.07 a.m., police responded to a call regarding a person who had been shot in front of 1779 Fulton Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx, in the 42nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his neck, unconscious and unresponsive. CCRB Public Hearing Jan. 13 on Expanding Agency’s Remit to Investigate Alleged NYPD Sexual Misconduct

The New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) will hold a public comment hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 13, on its new rules which were proposed last year and which if put in place would restart investigations by the agency into allegations of sexual misconduct by NYPD officers. The new rules would also allow the CCRB to investigate allegations of false official statements made by NYPD officers against civilians in official proceedings, or on official police paperwork.   The proposed new rules can be found here.
