Fordham Manor: Search for Woman following Robbery

The New York City Police Departs is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the woman seen in the attached photos in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 52nd precinct.   On Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021 at approximately 6.47 a.m., in front of 83 West Fordham Road in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx, an unidentified woman approached a 35-year-old female victim, punched her about the body and forcibly removed her jacket. The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on West Fordham Road towards Jerome Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention on scene.

Update: Bronx Man Charged Over Fatal Shooting In Fordham Heights

Bronx District Attorney, Darcel D. Clark, announced on Monday, Feb. 1 that a Bronx man has been charged for fatally shooting another man in Fordham Heights the day after Christmas.   Clark said the defendant, Marquis Tanner, 30, of East 184th Street, was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Bronx Supreme Court Justice, Michael Gross, on Jan. 29. 2021. Gun Hill Houses: Search for Man Wanted in Connection to Shooting

According to NYPD Detective Annette Shelton, two complaint reports are on file at the NYPD in relation to aggravated assault incidents that occurred on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 in the 52nd precinct.   At around 9 p.m. on the subway station platform inside Fordham Road subway station, located at the corner of Jerome Avenue and East Fordham Road in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx, a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy were struck about their body by a man. Bronx Anti-Gun Violence Advocate Indicted for Fatally Shooting Man Last Summer

   Bronx District Attorney, Darcel D. Clark, announced on Wednesday, Jan. 27, that a Bronx man who was active in an anti-gun violence group has been indicted for fatally shooting another man in August 2020.   Clark said the defendant, Mervin Joseph Moore, 37, of Sheridan Avenue in the South Bronx, was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Bronx Supreme Court Justice, Michael Gross, and remains in custody. Wakefield: Man Chasing Woman with Knife Shot Dead by Police, as January Marks Stalking Awareness Month

The New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) will hold a special board meeting on Friday, Jan. 29 at 12:00 p.m. to discuss the NYPD’s disciplinary matrix.
