AG Report Finds Only 2/3 of Charity Donations Went to Charities & Professional Fundraisers Retained the Rest

Trash, Curbside Composting and Recycling Collection Changes over Thanksgiving Weekend

The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that in observance of Thanksgiving Day, there will be no trash, curbside composting or recycling collection on Thursday, Nov. 25.   Residents who normally receive Thursday trash or curbside composting collection may place their material at the curb between 4 p.m. and midnight Thursday evening. However there will be collection delays, as is common after holidays. They ask residents to be patient while they await collection. Kingsbridge: Search for 63-Year-Old Missing Man

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of a 63-year-old man reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 23, from the Kingsbridge neighborhood, located in the 50th precinct.   Thomas Rosa, Thomas, 63, of  3632 Tibbett Avenue in Kingsbridge was last seen at his home at 11.30 hours on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
