Van Nest: 4-Year-Old Boy Falls from Balcony

Police have confirmed that a 4-year-old boy has fallen from a balcony at 1500 Noble Avenue in Van Nest on Saturday afternoon, July 24, and remains in a critical condition.   The incident is reported to have occurred at around 2.25 p.m. on Saturday. EMS responded and transported the child to Jacobi Hospital. An NYPD spokesperson said the child was standing on the balcony of the 10th floor of the building, climbed over the balcony and fell down ten stories. Clason Point: Search for 16-Year-Old Teen Last Seen in May

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old teen who was reported missing on Friday, July 23, in the 43rd precinct. William Nurse of 710 Croes Avenue, Apt #6C in the Clason Point section of the Bronx was last seen on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home.   William is described as being approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. Police confirmed a 26-year-old man was shot on West Kingsbridge Road sidewalk at the junction of Jerome Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road, on the border of Fordham Manor and Kingsbridge Heights in the Bronx on Friday, July 23, at around 4.36 p.m.   The shooting evolved from a dispute between the victim and another man and resulted in the victim being shot in the buttocks. Jerome Park: FDNY Investigate Fire on 21st Floor of Tracey Towers

According to a video posted by Citizen’s App users, smoke was seen billowing seemingly from two sides of one of the towers at a certain point.   Jean Hill, president of the Tracy Towers Tenants’ Organization, which had just held its last meeting before the summer break at the Mitchell Lama housing complex the previous evening, told the Norwood News on Friday that the fire had broken out on the 21st floor and had been extinguished.

Soundview: Man Dies in Single Vehicle Collision

Police responded to a 911 call of a single motor vehicle collision on Thursday, July 22, at around 4.58 a.m., at the intersection of Watson Avenue and Morrison Avenue, in the 43rd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers discovered a 32-year-old man inside the vehicle, unconscious and unresponsive, with severe body trauma.
