Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) to expand a two-story, two-home structure into a seven-story residential building at 2073 Ryer Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY. Located between East Burnside Avenue and East 180th Street, the lot is two blocks from the 182nd-183rd Street subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. A 51-year-old man has been arrested following the shooting of a 34-year-old man in Wakefield. The man died following a gunshot wound to the head.
