UPDATE MTA Announces Progress on Long-Awaited Mosholu Parkway Subway Elevator

Plans to install the long-awaited elevator at Mosholu Parkway subway station, which serves the 4 line, and which is located at the border of Jerome Park and Norwood, are finally taking shape according to The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). Queens Man Charged after Cocaine worth $300,000 & $50,000+ in Cash Seized in The Bronx

The Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor (SNP) has charged Queens man, Reynaldo Almonte, 29, in connection with the seizure of approximately 6 kilograms of cocaine (over 13 pounds), and more than $50,000 in cash from his burgundy Nissan sports car while in the West Farms section of The Bronx. Last Trinitarios Gang Member Pleads Guilty in Fatal Stabbing of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Dec. 13 that the last of the defendants in the June 20, 2018 fatal stabbing of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, who was also a member of the “Los Sures” set of the Trinitarios gang, has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter for his role in the killing. Bedford Park: Fire at Miriam Street, One Person Transported to Jacobi Medical Center

A fire broke out in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Monday evening and one person was transported to a borough hospital for treatment.   Fire department officials said they received a call at 7.16 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, regarding a fire in progress at 219 Miriam Street. All Hands were asked to respond by the department, which comprised 12 units and 60 firefighters. Two Men Found Dead in Subways: One at 205th St. in Norwood & 2nd at East 180th St. in Morris Park

  Police are currently working to identify the first of two men found dead inside a Bronx subway station within a 24-hour period. One man was found dead inside East 205th Street subway station, the last Bronx stop on the D train.
