Bronx leaders gathered in the Co-Op City section of The Bronx in a unified call for calm ahead of the verdict in the George Floyd murder trial in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the weekend, and announced that local houses of worship will remain open when the verdict is announced.   Fired Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, is currently on trial for the May 25, 2020 homicide of Floyd while in police custody. Olinville: 25-Year-Old Man Shot Multiple Times

The NYPD has confirmed that a 25-year-old man was shot “multiple times” inside a Holland Avenue apartment building in Olinville on Monday, while providing few details of the incident.
