SSA Announces Most Popular Baby Names for 2020, Encourages Use of Social Security Accounts

The U.S. Social Security Administration (SAA) recently announced the most popular baby names in New York in 2020, with Liam and Olivia topping the list. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance locating a 13-year-old boy reported missing in the 43rd precinct. Update: Fordham Heights Youth Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 17-Year-Old in Claremont

Police confirmed arresting a youth from Fordham Heights on murder charges on Tuesday in relation to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Claremont last weekend.   Police responded to a 911 call on Saturday, May 15, at approximately 9.07 p.m. regarding multiple people who had been shot at the rear of 1625 Webster Avenue in Claremont, in the 44th precinct. Fordham Heights: Fatal Shooting of 34-Year-Old Man Amid Dispute

Police responded to a 911 call on Sunday, May 16, at approximately 00.31 a.m., regarding a man who had been shot in front of 340 East 184 Street in Fordham Heights, in the 46th precinct. Preliminary investigation revealed he was a 34-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen during a dispute at the location.   The man was transported by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury. UPDATE Jeffrey Dinowitz Introduces Legislation to Combat the Creation of Fake Vaccination Cards

The FBI issued a warning on March 30 about a growing number of fraudulent vaccination cards which were being peddled to New Yorkers and to American residents, nationwide. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz has now introduced legislation at State level to charge those partaking in such fraud.   The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the U.S. Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the FBI issued the warning in March to make the public aware that there were individuals both selling fake COVID-19 vaccination record cards and encouraging others to print such fake cards in their homes.
