Pelham Parkway: Man Arrested on Murder Charges following Fatal Shooting

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on murder charges following a shooting in Pelham Parkway. On Thursday, May 6, at approximately 3.07 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 2143 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx, located in the 49th precinct. Upon arrival police observed a 23-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his chest. Police confirm that a 29-year-old man from East Harlem has been arrested in the context of the murder investigation of Omar Sepúlveda, 20, of Fordham Heights, who died in August following a shooting inside a residential building in Fordham Heights. Police confirm they have arrested a 30-year-old man from Allerton in the context of the murder investigation of Wayne Leon, 26, of Laconia who was was killed earlier this month. Influenza, or the flu, is an upper respiratory illness caused by a virus that affects the nose, throat, and lungs. The flu is contagious and spreads through droplets from an infected person when they sneeze, cough, or talk. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), these droplets can travel up to 6 feet, and can land in your nose or mouth. You can also pick up the virus from touching infected surfaces or objects and then touching your eyes or nose. Symptoms of the flu can include fever, cough, sore throat, muscle or body aches,
