Montefiore’s First Baby of the New Year is a Baby Girl from The Bronx!

Norwood: Man Dies following Car Accident

The NYPD has confirmed that a 56-year-old man has died following a car accident in Norwood.   On Sunday, Jan. 2, at approximately 1.22 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a pedestrian struck by an FDNY ambulance at the intersection of Dekalb Avenue and E. Gun Hill Road in Norwood, in the 52nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious and unresponsive 56-year-old man lying on the roadway. Baychester: 92-Year-Old Man Punched in the Face & Knocked to the Ground

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photographs and video who is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Baychester, in the 47th precinct. NYPD Release Bodycam Footage from Police-Involved Shooting on Oct. 2, in 52nd Precinct

  The NYPD released body-worn camera footage on Thursday, Dec. 30, in relation to an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Oct. 2, at University Heights Bridge and which involved both the 34th and the 52nd precinct commands.    Norwood News asked the NYPD for more information about the incident and were advised that all details are in the attached video.
