The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a heat advisory earlier this week which was originally due to be in effect until Wednesday, July 20, at 8 p.m., but NWS has since announced that the period of extreme heat will continue through Sunday, July 24 at 8 p.m. Temperatures of between 95 and 100 degrees were expected on Wednesday in New York City. Heat index values in the upper 90s to around 100 are expected for New York City through Sunday, at 8 p.m., according to NWS. Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Monday, July 18, that a Bronx man has been charged with predatory sexual assault, rape, a criminal sexual act along with other additional charges for attacking three women over the course of six days during separate incidents in his Eastchester apartment. Detectives from the 52nd Precinct are requesting the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought for questioning in relation to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the border of Fordham Manor and Kingsbridge Heights. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who is sought regarding a non-fatal shooting involving two young men in their 20s in Wakefield.
