Bridge and Street Closures in The Bronx, Dec. 17, 2021 to Jan. 10, 2022

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has advised of the following street closures in the Bronx from Dec. 17, 2021 to Jan. 10, 2022.

East 144th Street between Gerard Avenue and Walton Avenue

This street will be closed Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Jan 10, 2022, to facilitate crane operation.

East 160th Street between Forest Avenue and Tinton Avenue

This street will be closed Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Dec. 31, to facilitate crane operation.

Bergen Avenue between East 152nd Street and Westchester Avenue

This street will be closed three times a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Dec. 20, to facilitate crane operation.

Harrod Place between Westchester Avenue and Morrison Avenue

This street will be closed 24/7 through Dec. 31, to facilitate sewer reconstruction and installation.

Rodman Place between Longfellow Avenue and West Farms Road

This street will be closed Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Dec. 20, to facilitate crane operation.

East 146th Street between Exterior Street and Gerard Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturdays through 8 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 19, for crawler crane assembly.

East 146th Street between Gerard Avenue and Walton Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturdays through 8 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 19, for crawler crane assembly.

Gerard Avenue between East 144th Street and East 146th Street

This street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturdays through 8 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 19, for crawler crane assembly.

 

The NYPD has also advised of a Holiday Season Gridlock Alert until January 2, 2022.
