Allerton: 45-Year-Old Man Dies following Scooter Accident

Police confirm a 45-year-old man has died following a scooter accident in Allerton.

 

It was reported that on Oct. 27, at 8.21 p.m., the operator of a Cycleboard rover scooter was traveling southbound along Bronx Park East,  approaching Waring Avenue, in the Allerton section of the Bronx when he lost control of the scooter and struck his head on the ground.

 

The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased on Nov. 11.

The victim has been identified as Marvin Campbell, 45, of Bussing Avenue in the Wakefield section of the Bronx.
