Kingsbridge Heights: Car Fire Breaks Out on University Avenue Drawing FDNY Response

A car fire broke out in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx on Saturday night, May 30, drawing a response from the FDNY, department officials said.

 

An FDNY spokesperson said the department received a 911 call at 9.49 p.m. on Saturday night for a report of a car fire at 2724 University Avenue, located between West 195th Street and West Kingsbridge Road.

They said the fire was extinguished by the first arriving fire companies and there were no reported injuries. They said the incident was closed at 10.14 p.m.
