Police said a Norwood man has been arrested following an attempted assault in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx in April. They had been asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media, who they said was wanted in connection with the incident.
Police said that on Monday, April 20, at around 11.40 a.m., at the intersection of Davidson Avenue and West 177th Street, an unidentified suspect displayed and then fired a gun in the direction of a 30-year-old man, and then fled the location in a black sedan to parts unknown. They said there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, they said Niquan Terry of Norwood was arrested and charged on Thursday, May 7, at 10.30 a.m. within the confines of the 46th Precinct, which covers some or all of the Bronx neighborhoods of Fordham Heights, Morris Heights, University Heights, and Mount Hope.

They said Terry was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment. He is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
