Scooter/Moped Riders Sought in Bronx-Queens Robbery Pattern

THE NYPD IS once again appealing to the public for help identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is one of two people sought in connection with a robbery pattern identified across The Bronx and Queens in recent months.

The NYPD is once again appealing to the public for help identifying the people seen in the attached photos and videos who they say are sought in connection with a robbery pattern identified across The Bronx and Queens in recent months.

 

They said the first incident occurred in the 49th Precinct in the Allerton section of the Bronx. They said that on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at around 5.40 a.m., in front of 2516 White Plains Road, a 27-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters and proceeded to display knives. They said they then punched the victim throughout the body and then fled to parts unknown. They said the victim refused medical attention.

 

Police said that the second incident occurred in 48th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Saturday, Oct. 4, at around 5.45 p.m. in front of 483 East Tremont Avenue in the Tremont section of the borough, a 33-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified people, once again, on a scooter/moped. They said the suspects stole a chain from the victim’s neck, fled the location on their vehicle in a westbound direction along East Tremont Avenue, and that no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the third incident took place in the 49th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Friday, Oct. 10, at around 5 p.m., in front of 2536 Colden Avenue in the Allerton section of the borough, a 24-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified people, once again, on a moped/scooter. They said the suspects stole a chain from the victim’s neck, fled on their vehicle in a southbound direction along Colden Avenue, and that no injuries were reported.

Police said the fourth incident also occurred in the 49th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Friday, Oct. 10, at around 5.10 p.m. at the intersection of Barker Avenue and Thwaites Place in Allerton, a 34-year-old female victim was approached by two unidentified people on a scooter/moped. They said the suspects attempted to steal a chain from the victim’s neck but were unsuccessful and fled on their vehicle northbound along Bronx Park East. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the fifth incident took place in the 52nd Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at around 2.24 p.m. in front of 414 East 204th Street in Norwood, a 20-year-old female victim was approached by three unidentified people on scooters/mopeds. They said the suspects stole a chain from the victim’s neck and then fled on their vehicles in an unknown direction. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the sixth incident took place in the 50th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at around 3.30 p.m. at the intersection of West 197th Street and Claflin Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, a 35-year-old female victim was approached by two unidentified people, once again, on mopeds/scooters. They said the two stole a chain from the victim’s neck and fled on their vehicles eastbound on Claflin Avenue. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the seventh incident took place in the 52nd Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at around 3.43 p.m. in front of 2193 University Avenue in University Heights, a 62-year-old female victim was approached by two unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the two opened the victim’s sweater and stole her chain, a ring, and $1,500 dollars and then fled on their vehicles towards 184th Street. They said the victim refused medical attention.

Police said the eighth incident was reported in the 48th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at around 5.20 p.m. in front of 1989 Boston Road in West Farms, a 30-year-old female victim was approached by four unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the group stole four chains from the victim’s neck and then fled on their vehicles in an unknown direction. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police that the ninth incident took place in the 108th Precinct in Queens. They said that on Friday, Oct. 17, at around 4.30 p.m. in front of 6412 39th Avenue, a 26-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on scooters/mopeds. They said the group displayed a gun and stole a chain from the victim’s neck before fleeing westbound on their vehicles along 39th Avenue. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the tenth incident took place in the 49th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at around 4.20 p.m. in front of 2916 Cruger Avenue in Allerton, a 52-year-old female victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said they stole a chain from the victim’s neck and fled eastbound on their vehicles along Arnow Avenue. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the eleventh event was reported in the 47th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at around 4.40 p.m. at the intersection of Duncomb Avenue and Bronx Boulevard in the Olinville section of The Bronx, a 34-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the group displayed a gun and stole a bracelet from the victim’s wrist before fleeing on their vehicles southbound along Bronx Boulevard. They said the victim refused medical attention.

Police said Incident #12 took place in the 47th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Monday, Oct. 27, at around 3.20 p.m. at the intersection of Bronx Boulevard and East 211th Street in the Olinville section of The Bronx, a 32-year-old female victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the people stole gold rings and gold bracelets from the victim and then fled southbound on their vehicles on Bronx Boulevard. They said no injuries were reported.

 

Police said that Incident #13 took place in the Precinct in the 48th Precinct. They said that on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at around 12.47 p.m. in front of 729 East 182nd Street in Belmont, a 60-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on scooters/mopeds. They said the group displayed a gun, punched the victim in the neck, and stole gold chains, gold rings, and a bracelet. They said the group then fled southbound on their vehicles on Clinton Avenue. They said the victim refused medical attention.

 

Police said Incident #14 took place in the 52nd Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at around 4 p.m. in front of 29 East Fordham Road in Fordham Manor, a 17-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified individuals on mopeds/scooters. They said the group then attempted to steal a chain from the victim’s neck but were unsuccessful and later fled in an unknown direction on their vehicles. They said the victim refused medical attention.

 

Police said Incident #15 also took place in the 52nd Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at around 4.10 p.m. in front of 2880 Jerome Avenue in Bedford Park, a 42-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the group displayed a gun and attempted to steal jewelry from the victim but were unsuccessful and later fled southbound on their vehicles along Jerome Avenue. They said no injuries were reported.

Police said Incident #16 took place in the 49th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Saturday, Nov. 1, at around 3.25 p.m. in front of 625 Waring Avenue in Allerton, a 20-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the  group punched the victim and stole a chain and glasses from the victim, fled on their vehicles eastbound on Waring Avenue, and refused medical attention.

 

Police said Incident #17 occurred in the 47th Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Saturday, Nov. 1, at around 3.30 p.m. in front of 3514 Holland Avenue in Williamsbridge, a 16-year-old female victim was approached by three unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the group stole a chain and glasses from the victim, they fled on their vehicles in the direction of White Plains Road, and no injuries were reported.

 

Police said Incident #18 took place in the 52nd Precinct in The Bronx. They said that on Friday, Nov. 21, at around 1.45 p.m. at the intersection of Bedford Park Boulevard and Jerome Avenue in Bedford Park, a 34-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified people on mopeds/scooters. They said the two stole two gold chains from the victim’s neck, the victim then chased them to East 198th Street and Grand Concourse where the suspects fell off of their vehicle and fled on foot eastbound along East 198th Street. They said no injuries were reported.

Police said the attached photos were obtained from Incident #18.
