41-Year-Old Man Dies in Norwood Residential Building

 

Police are called to 333 East 209th Street in Norwood where a 41-year-old man was found dead on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

The NYPD recently confirmed a 41-year-old man died in a Norwood apartment.

 

According to police spokeswoman, Detective Annette Shelton, officers from the 52nd precinct were called to 333 East 209th Street at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21.

Shelton said of the incident, “Upon arrival, a 41-year-old male was discovered unconscious, lying in the hallway of the location.” She added, “EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased.”

 

The deceased man’s name was not immediately released as it was pending proper family notification. The Office of the City’s Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
