Wakefield: Three Sought for Armed Auto Theft

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted for stealing a car in Wakefield. [They did not specify which person. We have asked.]

 

Police said that on Friday, Dec. 8, at around 23.56 p.m., three people approached a victim’s vehicle near Barnes Avenue and East 233rd Street. “The individuals displayed a firearm and told the 30-year-old male victim to get out [of] the car,” a police spokesperson said. “The individual then fled in the victim’s vehicle to parts unknown. There were no injuries reported.”

 

Police said the three people sought are described as male and have dark complexions.
