Van Nest / West Farms: NYPD Appeal for Help Locating Parents/Guardian of Boy Found in The Bronx

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating the parents or guardian of an unidentified child found in the vicinity of the West Farms / Van Nest sections of The Bronx in the confines of the 48th Precinct on Friday, June 5, 2026.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating the parents or guardian of an unidentified child found in the vicinity of the Van Nest / West Farms sections of The Bronx, in the confines of the 48th Precinct.

 

Police said that on Friday, June 5, at around 2 p.m. in the vicinity of Bronx Park Avenue and East Tremont Avenue, an unidentified child was found without adult supervision. They said the child, described as male, estimated to be around 4 years of age, with a dark complexion and black hair, and found wearing a red and black T-shirt, multicolored shorts, and black crocs, was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital for evaluation.
