UPDATE Williamsbridge: Three Sought following “Reckless Endangerment” Shooting

Officers from the NYPD’s 49th Precinct are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the three people seen in the attached photos who are sought for questioning in connection to a “reckless endangerment” incident (multiple shooting) that occurred in the confines of the 49th Precinct.

It was reported to police that on Monday, Sept. 19, at approximately 11.20 p.m., in front of 2825 Olinville Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx, three people were involved in a multiple shooting directed at another group. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

“Reckless endangerment” is a criminal offense that makes it illegal to act in a way that puts others in danger or the property of others in danger. A person faces a reckless endangerment charge even if the person does not actually harm another person or damage property.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
