Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (A.D. 81) was joined by Councilman Eric Dinowitz (C.D. 11) at the Park Reservoirs Annual shareholders meeting during the weekend ending Sunday, Nov. 16, when the assemblyman presented a check for $1 million to the shareholders. His office said the funds will be used for essential capital projects “to help Park Reservoir continue to succeed as the first Mitchell-Lama built in New York.”
Park Reservoir is located at 98 Van Cortlandt Park South in the Van Cortlandt Village section of The Bronx. NYC Department of Housing, Preservation & Development (HPD)’s Mitchell Lama affordable rental and cooperative program was designed for moderate and middle-income families. Bedford Park’s Tracey Towers is another such Mitchell Lama housing complex.

He was joined by Council Member Eric Dinowitz (C.D. 11) for the occasion. Both elected officials also participated in another event over the same weekend, a Woodlawn Community Clean Up hosted by KRVC, Woodlawn Heights Alliance of Merchants (WHAM), and NYC Department of Small Business Services. According to the assemblyman’s office, volunteers from Atmosphere Academy and Women of Woodlawn participated in the clean up.
