UPDATE Norwood: 32-Year-Old Woman Stabbed inside Residential Building, Suspect Flees

Police confirm a woman was stabbed, early on Wednesday morning, in the Norwood section of The Bronx.

 

The incident was reported at around 2.45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, inside 3349 Webster Avenue, by users of the Citizens App who said police had arrived at the scene. The assault was later officially confirmed by police who said officers responded to a call regarding the incident at the location at around 2.30 a.m. that morning

 

An NYPD spokesperson said a 32-year-old woman suffered a laceration to the stomach and right arm in the context of a dispute with a 32-year-old man. The victim was taken to a local area hospital and is in stable condition.

 

There are no arrests according to police and the investigation is ongoing.

 

According to users of the Citizens App, the perpetrator fled the scene.
