Update: Missing 15-Year-Old Girl in Mott Haven Found Safe

Myasia Gibbs, 15, is reported missing.

The New York City Police Department had been seeking the public’s assistance in locating Myasia Gibbs, 15, who lives at 575 East 140th Street, Apt. 2Y in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, and who had been reported missing in the 40th precinct.

 

Myasia had last been seen Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at 4.30 p.m. inside her home. She was described as being approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall, has a  medium complexion and a medium build, weighs 158 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. She had last been seen wearing a blue sweater, black pajama pants, a black durag (hair covering) and black slippers.

 

On Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, the NYPD confirmed that Myasia had been found safe.
