UPDATE Fordham Manor: Man Sought in Connection to Robbery Spree

The NYPD is advising the public of two robberies which have also been identified since they shared a request for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video who they said was sought in connection to an attempted commercial robbery in Fordham Manor on April 2.

 

Of that first incident, they said that on Tuesday, April 2, at around 9.13 p.m. a 23-year-old male victim was inside a store located at 2625 Grand Concourse when an as-yet, unidentified male suspect approached the store’s drive-through window, displayed a gun, and demanded money. They said the victim refused to hand over any cash at which point the suspect fled the location on foot to parts unknown. Police said there were no injuries reported.

 

They said the person sought was described as male, has a medium build, a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black and white sneakers, and a black ski mask.

 

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, on Tuesday, April 9, police said two attempted robberies have since been identified in Fordham Manor in recent months which are being investigated as part of a broader robbery pattern.

 

Police said the 2nd incident took place on Thursday, March 21, at around 6.50 p.m. They said a 32-year-old male employee was at 2629 Grand Concourse in Fordham Manor, when an unidentified person approached the store’s window, displayed a gun, and demanded currency. They said the assailant stole around $3,000 and fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Grand Concourse. They said there were no injuries reported.

Police went on to say that the third incident occurred on Wednesday, April 3, at around 11.24 p.m. They said two people entered 290 East Kingsbridge Road, also in Fordham Manor, displayed a gun, and demanded currency. They said the two unidentified people stole around $60, then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound toward 192nd Street. Police said there were no injuries reported. They provided the attached additional photo of one of the suspects.
