UPDATE East Bronx: 18-Year-Old Arrested following Fatal Shooting of Man, 22

An 18-year-old male youth has been arrested following the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx, police said.

 

A police spokesperson said at around 4.40 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male shot at 1219 Adee Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male shot in the chest. EMS responded and removed the male to NYC Health & Hospitals/ Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

The deceased has been identified as Miguel Molina of Adee Avenue in Laconia.

 

On Sunday evening, June 18, police said that pursuant to an ongoing investigation, Christopher Bradley, 18, of the Laconia section of the East Bronx was arrested earlier that day at 4.15 a.m.

 

They said he was charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. A person arrested and charged with a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
