Police said an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 15, at around 6 p.m. in the confines of the 44th Precinct, which covers parts of the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium.
An NYPD spokesperson said the NYPD police officer was charged with computer trespassing, criminal mischief, and official misconduct.
The officer maintains the case did not proceed to a grand jury indictment and no grand jury action was taken. Norwood News reached out to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office for comment and for an update on the status of the case. On June 22, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office responded and said, “Case was resolved on June 17. Case is closed and sealed.”
