Police said an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 15, at around 6 p.m. in the confines of the 44th Precinct, which covers parts of the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium.
An NYPD spokesperson said Zenetria Williams, 33, an NYPD police officer, was charged with computer trespassing, criminal mischief, and official misconduct.
Williams maintains the case did not proceed to a grand jury indictment and no grand jury action was taken. Norwood News has reached out to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office for comment on this and for an update on the status of the case and will share any feedback we receive.
Williams is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
