Tremont: Three Sought for Attempted Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the three people seen in the attached media who they say are wanted in connection with an attempted assault that occurred in the Tremont section of The Bronx.

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in this video who they say is one of three wanted in connection with an attempted assault that occurred at Prospect Avenue and Clay Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Police said that on Tuesday, March 17, [St. Patrick’s Day] at around 10.45 p.m., three unidentified individuals were in the vicinity of Prospect Place and Clay Avenue, when one of them displayed a gun and fire on round in the direction of an unidentified male.

 

They said the suspect then handed the gun to a second person and all three then fled the location on foot, traveling eastbound on Prospect Place to parts unknown. Police said there were no injuries reported.

They said the first suspect is described as male and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. They said the second suspect is also described as male, and was last seen wearing a black face mask, a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.

 

They said the third suspect is also described as male, and was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, black jeans, and black and white sneakers.
