Belmont: 23-Year-Old Man Arrested following Shooting of Two Cops on Thanksgiving Eve

West Farms: 39-Year-Old Man Murdered

A murder investigation has opened following the shooting of a 39-year-old man in West Farms.   On Friday, Nov. 5, at approximately 1.44 a.m, police responded to a 911 call regarding an aided, unconscious man inside 1290 Rodman Place, in the 48th precinct. Belmont: Police Appeal for More Information on Man Charged with Sex Crimes Involving a Child

Charges Dropped against Sen. Sepúlveda in DV Case; Witness Does Not Wish to Testify

The Bronx District Attorney has dropped all charges against State Sen. Luis Sepúlveda who, as reported, was charged with allegedly attempting to choke his estranged wife at his West Farms home on Jan. 9, 2021.   A source at the Bronx District Attorney’s office said on Monday, Oct. 4, “The case against (Luis) Sepúlveda was dismissed today. 13-Year-Old Boy Shot in Belmont, Dies

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a person who had been shot in front of 743 East 187th Street in Belmont, in the 48th precinct, on Sunday, July 11, at approximately 3.18 p.m.   Upon arrival, police observed a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his chest and leg.
