Belmont: Search for Gunman Who Shot 17-Year-Old in Leg

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached video and photo who is sought for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred in Belmont, located in the 48th precinct.

 


On Monday, Nov. 8, at approximately 2.40 p.m., a 17-year-old male victim was crossing the street at the corner of Bathgate Avenue and East Fordham Road in Belmont, when an unidentified individual who was inside a blue Dodge Durango, shot at the victim once, hitting him in the left leg, further to a verbal dispute.

 

 

The suspect then fled eastbound on East Fordham Road to parts unknown. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.

 

The vehicle is described as a blue Dodge Durango. A surveillance photo and video of the vehicle are attached.
