Bronx Brothers Charged with Murder in Fordham Heights Shooting that left Bystander Dead

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Thursday, May 5, that two Bronx brothers have been charged with murder and manslaughter in connection with a shooting in Fordham Heights that left a 61-year-old female bystander dead after she was hit by a stray bullet. Bridge lift testing at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge Manhattan span is scheduled for the early hours of Friday, May. 6, according to the MTA.   Intermittent Closures Planned for Both Directions Intermittent, full closures at the Robert F. Morris Park: 16-Year-Old Girl Hit by Truck, Dies

Police confirm a 16-year-old girl has died following a road accident in Morris Park.   According to the NYPD, on Wednesday, May 4, at around 8.22 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who had been knocked down at 1027 Neill Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 16-year-old girl with trauma about the body.   EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A preliminary investigation by police revealed a 46-year-old man was driving a 2017 Ford F-750 Box Truck, traveling southbound on Paulding Avenue

Kingsbridge: Search for Man Sought in Burglary Pattern

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photographs who is sought in connection to a burglary pattern that was identified in Kingsbridge.   It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 10, at approximately 9.30 a.m., at a residential apartment building in the vicinity of Kingsbridge Avenue and West 234th Street in Kingsbridge, the unidentified individual entered the location by forcing a basement door open. Once inside, he removed tools valued at approximately $340, before fleeing to parts unknown. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
