A 75-year-old male pedestrian remains in critical condition after he was run down by a turning vehicle as he was crossing a Kingsbridge Heights street. UPDATE: Female Tracey Towers Resident Dies following Stabbing Incident

Edenwald: Search for Gunman following Morning Shooting

Van Cortlandt Jewish Center Hosts Blood Drive amid Citywide Blood Shortage

Last month, New York Blood Center declared a blood emergency. Van Cortlandt Jewish Center (VCJC), in conjunction with the New York Blood Center (NYBC), is hosting an upcoming blood drive to address the shortage.   NYBC announced the blood emergency due to an alarming drop in blood donations, according to VCJC.
