The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating a 76-year-old woman reporting missing in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx. Police said Linda Taub of 3468 Kingsland Avenue was last seen at her home on Friday, Oct. 21, at approximately 4 a.m. She is around 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs around 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray three-quarter-length-sleeved blouse, blue jeans, black sneakers and glasses. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) announced that a three-dose course of the hepatitis B vaccine, HEPLISAV-B, fully protects adults living with HIV who have never been vaccinated against, or infected with, the hepatitis B virus (HBV), according to study findings presented on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Infectious Diseases (ID) Week conference in Washington, D.C. Yonkers doctor, Marc Laruelle, has pled guilty to one count of distributing oxycodone, among other narcotics, without a legitimate medical purpose while acting outside the usual course of professional practice. Laruelle pled guilty before U.S. District Judge Denis L. Cote, on Thursday, Oct. 20, as announced by Damian Williams, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Brooklyn-based nonprofit, CAMBA Housing Ventures (CHV), provided an update on the status of its 323-unit housing development, located on 202nd and 203rd Streets in Bedford Park, during the October meeting of Bronx Community Board 7’s (CB7) Housing, Land Use & Economic Development committee.
