Bronx Notes: Financial Literacy with 1990s Entertainers
Two entertainers who made it big in the 1990s, Play from the hip hop duo Kid n’ Play and Meli’sa Morgan, are coming to the Bronx Library Center (E. Kingsbridge Road, just north of Fordham Road), to talk about financial literacy and share their personal financial struggles. “Fame and (Mis)Fortune” starts tonight at 6 p.m. at the Library Center.

‘Paradise’ Boosts Bronx Arts Scene
Summer Fun Coming Sunday on E. 204th Street
On the next two Sundays in Norwood, the street will be blocked off on East 204th Street, between Bainbridge and Decatur avenues, for a city-sanctioned block party, complete with outdoor shopping, street games, face painting, food and live performances. It’s part of the Department of Transportation’s Summer Streets program, presented by the East 204th Street and Bainbridge Avenue Merchants Association.
