Olinville: Man Sought after 16-Year-old Girl is Slashed in Face in Apparent Unprovoked Attack

The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for help identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is wanted in connection to a slashing / assault that occurred in Olinville.

 

THE NEW YORK City Police Department is appealing to the public for help identifying the person seen in these photos who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred at 3777 White Plains Road in Olinville Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.

Police said that on Friday, Jan. 12, at around 4 p.m. in front of 3777 White Plains Road, a 16-year-old girl was walking on the sidewalk when she was approached by a male individual unknown to her. They said the person slashed the girl in her face, causing serious physical injury.

They said the victim was transported by EMS to Jacobi Medical Center in Morris Park in serious but stable condition, and that the suspect fled the location on foot in a southbound direction on White Plains Road, and then westbound on East 216th Street.
