An off-duty New York City employee has been arrested in the 49th precinct which covers Allerton, Morris Park, Van Nest, Pelham Parkway, Eastchester Gardens, and Pelham Gardens.
On Monday, July 4, at 11.08 p.m., NYPD Police Officer Kelvin White, 43, was arrested while off duty and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment.
White became a police officer in July 2010 and is assigned to the Yankee Stadium detail. No information was available on the officer’s disciplinary history.
A person arrested and charged with a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
