The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a person who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that on Monday, May 19, at around 8.40 a.m., an unidentified person sprayed an unknown substance into the face of an on-duty, 33-year-old female MTA employee onboard a BX-10 MTA bus in the vicinity of Bainbridge Avenue and Van Cortlandt Avenue East. “The individual then fled the location to parts unknown,” the spokesperson said. “The victim was transported to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.”
