Norwood: Man Sought for Reckless Shots Fired on E 209th Street

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to shots fired in Norwood.

Police said that on Saturday, May 24, at around 8.05 p.m., an unidentified man fired multiple shots in front of 365 East 209th Street. “The individual then fled westbound on East 209 street on foot to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.”

Police said the suspect is described as male and was last seen wearing a white surgical mask, a black, hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
