Join the Urban Park Rangers and be inspired by Mother Nature to build a nature-themed craft during a ‘Mother’s Day Hike and Craft” event.

NYC Parks & Recreation is offering outdoor programs with limited attendance so that you can have a safe and enjoyable time in parks. Based on New York State guidance for sports and recreation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the agency has put protocols into place to keep participants and staff safe and healthy. Parks’ is asking everyone to stay safe by following these guidelines:

Stay home if you’re sick
Maintain six feet of physical distance between households
Wear a face covering
Wash your hands

Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer to these programs.

Welcome to the Norwood News, a bi-weekly community newspaper that primarily serves the northwest Bronx communities of Norwood, Bedford Park, Fordham and University Heights.
