Morrisania: Man Wanted by Police In Connection to Robbery Spree

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man shown in the attached photo and video who is wanted for questioning in connection to a pattern of robberies earlier this month, all of which occurred within the confines of the 42nd precinct in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.

 

Incident #1:

On Sunday, July 5, 2020, at approximately 6:55 p.m., as a 44-year-old female victim exited the elevator on the 8th floor inside 1348 Webster Ave (Butler Houses), an unidentified man punched her in the face. The man proceeded to remove the victim’s shopping cart which contained groceries, as well as her set of apartment keys, before fleeing via a staircase. The victim sustained pain and bruising but refused medical attention at the scene.

 

Incident #2:

On Tuesday, July 7, at approximately 9:45 p.m., in the vicinity of 1330 Webster Ave, a 58-year-old female victim was standing at a bus stop when the man approached her and punched her in the side of the face while she was placing money in her purse. The man attempted to grab the money from the victim’s hand, but was unsuccessful. He ran inside Butler Houses in an unknown direction. The victim suffered pain and swelling to the face, but refused medical attention at the scene.

 

Incident #3:

On Monday, July 13, at approximately 5 p.m., a 78-year-old female victim was on the 16th floor inside 1348 Webster Avenue when the man followed her through the staircase door. The man snatched the victim’s purse from her hand and fled in an unknown direction with $400, a cell phone and identification belonging to the victim. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.

 

The attached video and photo was taken prior to Incident #1.

    Seriously?! Can you tell us the truth???? Or, at least, tell us the facts. Jeez. I’m waiting for a reliable resource, which you have failed to provide. I’m disappointed,really. If you’re going to choose sides, at least be faithful, damn.
