The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that took place in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Monday, July 13, at around 4.55 p.m. in front of 1652 University Avenue, a 37-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified person, who displayed a cutting instrument. They said the suspect slashed the victim in the face causing a laceration.
“EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The unidentified individual fled the location on foot to parts unknown.”
