The New York Lottery announced on Saturday, July 30, that one second-prize ticket for the July 29 Mega Millions drawing was sold in The Bronx, and the ticket is worth a guaranteed $1,000,002.

The ticket was purchased at New Way Deli & Lottery Corp, located at 77 East Kingsbridge Road.

The winning numbers for the Mega Millions game are drawn from a field of one to 70. The Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 25. The Mega Millions drawing is televised every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.

On July 21, the New York Lottery announced a jackpot winning ticket for the July 20, New York LOTTO drawing worth $18.9 million was sold in Yonkers. The prize-winning ticket was sold at the Yonkers Mini Mart & Deli on Yonkers Avenue.

The winning numbers for the July 20 New York LOTTO drawing were 7, 17, 23, 29, 48 and 57 and the bonus number was 21.

To win the New York LOTTO jackpot, players must match six numbers drawn from a field of one to 59. New York LOTTO drawings are televised every Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 11:21 P.M. A New York LOTTO prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

Additionally, the New York Lottery announced on July 11 that there were multiple top-prize winning tickets sold for the July 10 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing. The tickets were sold in The Bronx and in Brooklyn at the following locations:

  • The Concourse Deli LLC located at 200 East 170th Street in The Bronx, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $16,293.00
  • Metro Parkslope Gourmet located at 239 9th Street in Brooklyn, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $16,293.00

Take 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

Meanwhile, The New York Law Journal reported on July 26 that Jason Kurland, known as the “Lottery Lawyer,” reportedly an ex-partner with Long Island law firm, Rivkin Randler, was found guilty of a fraud scheme causing “massive losses” for clients.

New York Lottery officials say the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.59 billion in fiscal year 2020-21 to help support education in New York State.
