Lehman Center for the Performing Arts presents an ABBA Tribute Show “Arrival from Sweden” on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m. According to the Center’s representatives, “Arrival from Sweden” is one of the world’s most popular and best selling ABBA tribute bands. “Hailed as the closest you will ever get to ABBA, the show masters the Nordic band’s spirit with sensational vocals, breathtaking arrangements, and incredible costumes,” they said.

World renowned ABBA tribute band “Arrival from Sweden,” founded by Vicky Zetterberg in Gothenburg, Sweden, has sold out arenas and venues all over the world since 1995, according to Lehman representatives. “They have toured in over 70 countries, including 86 tours in the United States,” they said. “Perfectly mirroring ABBA’s distinctive style, they cover timeless hits such as ‘Dancing Queen,’ ‘Mamma Mia,’ ‘Money, Money, Money,’ ‘Does Your Mother Know,’ ‘Take A Chance,’ ‘SOS,’ ‘The Winner Takes It All,’ ‘Super Trouper,’ ‘Waterloo,’ ‘Honey Honey,’ ‘Fernando,’ ‘Chiquitita,’ ‘Knowing Me Knowing You,’ ‘Thank You For The Music,’ ‘Lay All Your Love On Me,’ and ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme.’

Lehman officials went on to say that “Arrival from Sweden” has played with more than 100 symphony orchestras throughout the world, including some of the finest orchestras in the USA like Boston Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony Orchestra, and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

They also caught the attention of ABBA, themselves, they said, adding that “Arrival from Sweden” is the only group that has been given a previously unreleased ABBA song directly by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA. “The song ‘Just A Notion’ was released by ‘Arrival from Sweden’ in 1999,” they said, adding that ABBA, themselves, then recorded it for its own “Voyage” release. They said, ‘Arrival from Sweden’ also received exclusive permission to have costumes that are actual recreations of the original wardrobes worn by ABBA.
