Kingsbridge Heights: Police Appeal for Help Locating Robbery & Assault Suspect at Popeyes

The NYPD is asking the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance photo and video who is sought for questioning regarding a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

It was reported to police at the 50th Precinct that on Monday, Jun. 29, at around 5 p.m., inside Popeyes restaurant, located at 119 West Kingsbridge Road, a 25-year-old female victim, while ordering food, engaged in a verbal dispute with another unidentified person.

 

The second individual (a man) proceeded to punch the woman repeatedly about the body, later picking up the victim’s cash app card which contained $37 and fleeing through the front door. He was last seen traveling eastbound on Kingsbridge Road in a silver BMW sedan. The victim sustained minor bruising, but refused medical attention.

 

The suspect is described as male, is around 30 years old, has a dark complexion, weighs 220 pounds, is about 6 feet tall, has short, dark hair, and was last seen wearing a white Nike T-shirt with the word “Beast” on the front, grey Air Jordan shorts, black sneakers, and a blue surgical mask. He was carrying a red bag.
